BOCA DE CAMICHIN is located at the mouth of San Pedro River. It is an extensive arm of the sea and one of the largest marshes areas on the state. In Boca de Camichin, there are significant amounts of shrimp, oyster, snapper, and other marine estuaries.
This beach is very visited by tourists to savor their rich cuisine prepared from fresh seafood. This is the perfect place to take a jungle tour boat to the zone of the estuaries from broad channels and natural lagoons with lush vegetation of mangroves. The wild fauna consists of deer, puma, wild pig, raccoon, Heron, Ibis, duck, and others.
