It is a great mineral and forestry area. Te town is neat and beautiful, in it there is a significant indigenous population dedicated to manufacture and sell handicrafts. Highlights its beautiful lagoon located in what is supposedly a volcano crater. It is an ideal place to practice the camping, water skiing, hiking, boat tours, kayaking, bird watching and enjoy its exquisite gastronomy. There are some restaurants al the lagoon´s shore that offer typical food  based on tilapia fish, shrimp, BBQ lamb and roast rabbit. There are also some bungalows surrounded by extensive gardens where you can stay overnight as well as a nice and comfortable hotel.
